The Great Natural Deodorant Debate

We at Vern care about the way we smell. We care so much that we spend invaluable hours of the day debating the merits of natural deodorants. The debate over which smells the best, which works the best, which is the worst, which is the best value rages on, and we — dear readers — have decided to launch The Great Natural Deodorant Debate — a blog we will be updating anytime we have more intel on this very important matter.

What do you think? What’s your favourite natural deodorant? We want to hear from you. Email us your thought at Maybe we’ll add your comments to the great debate blog.

November 17, 2017 — Schmidt Naturals

I feel as if I’ve tried every natural deodorant in Calgary, and I’m calling it — Schmidt Naturals is the best. I can’t tolerate baking soda in deodorant (it turns my skin into a huge red rash), so thankfully Schmidt has a sensitive skin line. It comes in the most amazing scents (my current favourite is Jasmine Tea) and it seriously lasts all day.

5 out of 5 stars!

I get it at Fresh Laundry.

You may notice some tumbleweeds on Vern Magazine at the moment. Our team is social distancing (it’s all the rage), so you may notice we’re not as active publishing all the content you’ve come to love. In the meantime, we encourage you to keep supporting local businesses from a distance and look forward to venturing out to our favourite shops, restaurants and events in the near future.
