Contemporary Calgary is hosting an international art writing symposium entitled “Never the Same: what (else) can art writing do?” where writers from around the world to present lectures and writings about art and culture. Chris Kraus, author of I Love Dick will be the keynote speaker and will also be holding a book launch for After Kathy Acker, at the gallery in conjunction with the opening reception.
